Segoe Fluent Icons Font
The ReFox program requires the Segoe Fluent Icons font for proper functionality.
This font is used to render graphics such as icons, bitmaps, and glyphs on the program's interface.
This ensures the application adopts the modern design of Windows 10 and 11.
Automatic Font Check and Installation
When ReFox starts, it verifies the presence of the SFI font.
If the font is missing:
- the program attempts to download the font as a
.zip file to its working directory.
- the .ttf file is extracted
and prepared for installation.
What to Do If Installation Fails?
If the automatic installation fails, the ReFox program will terminate.
In this case, you need to manually install the Segoe Fluent Icons font.
Once the font is installed, you can restart ReFox or continue installation of ReFox
On Windows 11, there’s no need to download the font as it is included with the operating system.
On Windows 10 and earlier versions, Segoe Fluent Icons is not included by default.
